I have checked it and I can succesfully delete the Homepage widgets.
Please update your code and notify us if you are still facing the issue.

  Can't delete Homepage Widgets

Status in OpenObject Web Client:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Every time I try to delete the widgets from the home page Administration → Customization → Home page widgets, raises this Warning.

    The operation cannot be completed, probably due to the following: - deletion: you may be trying to delete a record while other
    records still reference it - creation/update: a mandatory field is not correctly set [object with reference: res.widget.user -
    res.widget.user]

I am unable to delete existing widgets.
