I have checked your issue but it's working fine at my end.

For second issue,I suggest you to use statement "from datetime import
datetime" into your period_yyyymm.py file.

  [6.0] can not create periods

Status in OpenObject Addons Modules:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  to reproduce
* new db without demo data
* change preference interface to extended
* install module account
* give admin all groups
* create fiscal year
* click create periods
--> Error  ( see also below 2 error)
