I would like to tell you that, in version 6.0 RC1,we had maintenance contract.
But we have improved the stuff and called it Publisher warranty, and it works normally with RC2.

I guess,you are still using old version.

Hence, I would opt to close the bug and ticket.

ISSUE #1 - Error when trying to Open Maintenance Contracts
Steps to Reproduce
Go to Administration --> Maintenance --> Maintenance Contracts
Receive a view error when trying to open

View error

Can't find field 'date_stop' in the following view parts composing the view of object model 'maintenance.contract':
 * maintenance.contract.search

Either you wrongly customized this view, or some modules bringing those views are not compatible with your current data model

ISSUE #2 - Error and Add Maintenance Contract Menu is selected
Steps to Reproduce
Click on Add Maintenance Contract menu
Receive Error - Object Error
Object maintenance.contract.wizard doesn't exist.

Results Expected: To be able to add and view a valid Maintenance Contract to OpenERP.
