[Bug 697960] Re: Missing 'Price Types' menu link in product configuration

What is the recommended way to add a base price to a product, in
addition to the Sale Price (also called Public Price) and Cost Price?

For our company we set prices for various levels of customers and in
several currencies. These prices are fixed and not dependent on other
pricelists or currency exchange rates.

We have added some price fields to the product template and created
price types based on those fields. I'd guess some other companies would
want to do something similar.

The only other way I can see to make a base price is to create a
pricelist with each product defined separately and using a rule such as:
Price = [Public Price] x (1 + [-1] + [New Base Price]. The problem with
this method is that the price is not visible in the product form and is
quite tedious to set up.

Title:
Missing 'Price Types' menu link in product configuration

Status in OpenObject Addons Modules:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Module: product

It seems the menu item for 'Price Types' (product.price.type) is missing from OpenERP v6.

It is available in v5 and and be added back to v6 manually by creating a menu link for product.price.type.
