Hello,

I have tested your scenario with the latest code at my end.

I have created a new db with the French language and able to get the
string "Extended Filters" translated according to relevant language in
web client.

I have attached the screen shot for your reference, So please check it
and notify me if you are talking about the other view of the system
where this type of string is untranslated.

  [trunk] Unable to translate 'Extended Filters' string

Status in OpenObject Server:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I don't find the string 'Extended Filters' in Rosetta neither in fr.po file.

In web client, this string isn't translated but I attach this issue to server because with an rgrep 'Extended Filters' * in server, I found that :
bin/addons/base/i18n/vi.po:#~ msgid "Extended Filters..."
bin/addons/base/i18n/vi.po:#~ msgstr "Extended Filters..."

But if you think that this bug should be reported to the web client, please change the attached project.
