Yes, I give the production lot at products to finish also.

But what I noticed is the move gets created and we need to go to the
move and assign production lot there too.

I mean assign at every possible instance where it is used.

Is it the right way the user has to go and edit each time and assign lot every where??
This is just not generic i guess.

  mrp : Validation Error while making MO, routing with external production location .

Status in OpenObject Addons Modules:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When I make a manufacturing order for a product, with its bom defined.

ValidateError:
Error occurred while validating the field(s) prodlot_id: You must assign a production lot for this product

I get this error each time, even if i assign production lot number !
This happens when i have the Lots ( inside product) checkbox marked true.
And when I use the routing through external location!
