I don't think so.

You can usually buy per tons (default PO uom), but some suppliers sell
per kilo. (a specific supplier)

  product UoM of supplier should be the same that the default product
  UoM

Status in OpenObject Addons Modules:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  In product form view, the user can chose the default UoM. If he adds a
  supplier, the Supplier UoM should be the same that the one choosen in
  product form. (if not, the user gets an error)
