hello Steffi,

indeed this behavior is the same for each and every fields of a search
view. So you'll understand that we can't decide to change this without
taking in account all the other possible use cases. Anyway, we still
have the possibility to put operator="=" on this particular field but do
we really want that? i feel like even there we should take into account
all the possible use cases, adn thus i'm not sure it would be a good
idea: other wise it will allow people to encode their product name each
time completly before doing a search!

for this reason, i'm setting this bug as invalid,

  V6_View_stock_moves_"wildcard_result"

Bug description:
  in view 'Stock Moves' all moves of products beginning with
  the character string based on the selected product were listed. For
  example: selected product code is PV1 --> moves from code PV11 were
  listed as well.....

  I would have expected that using a wildcard allows me to have an
  overview of all moves with products beginning with xxx, but selecting a
  product should list just related moves....
