Well, you are true and very close to what I imagine for this /unimplemented
yet/ feature:
at v6.0.0 we don't handle url-type attachments right in webdav. But we could
make sure that their absolute URL is the response to a PROPFIND (the DAV
listing operation), so that capable browsers[1] link to the destination of
that URL.
Thanks for your thorough inspection of OpenERP.
[1] I doubt if all the current known WebDAV client implementations will handle
an external URL right. After all, it would be a security issue if they would
directly transfer to external domains.
