I replaced in my installation (not in the build, but I will test later):
server\library.zip\tools\safe_eval.pyo by sources server\bin\tools\safe_eval.py that I modified as you said :

line 22 :
-    _ALLOWED_MODULES = ['_strptime']
+   _ALLOWED_MODULES = ['_strptime', 'time']

and good news, error disappears.

thanks for the idea to add 'time' in allowed modules.

  when I install modules with configurator, the configurator don't
  finish all options (without error popup), I have this error in the
  server log :
