hi there!

i usually clean the old files (actually not all, precisely becouse new
ones don't get where and how it should) and run python setup.py install
in the src directory

they get into dist-packages in /usr/local/python2.6/

  [6.0 trunk] setup writes wrong paths into .openerprc

Status in OpenERP GTK Client:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  the setup process fails to create proper links for pixmaps and share
  in the ~/.openerprc file

  they are linked to the pyshared folder, but nothing gets copied there.
  all necessary files are now copied in the openerp-client egg
