Sorry. You're right.
The base_contact module doesn't supply the "Sales/Address Book/Addresses" menu entry.

The base module created the entry "Sales/Address Book/Addresses".
Just now I can't figure out what module supplied the "Purchase/Address Book/" menu entry. But I think it should create a sub-entry "Addresses"  equivalent to the one on "Sales/Address Book/" as described earlier.

If you know the module can't you rename/forward this bug accordingly?
