More details, I just updated from RC2 to v6.0.1.   I am logged in as
user Leigh id 3.  When I look at the database file crm.case.stage, I've
got old stuff and new stuff in it:

The old stuff (Rc2) has no type assigned to it, so I don't see it in the Configuration / Opportunities / Stages menu.
However, from the tree view when I click on the advance buttons, it is the Stages from user 1 that appear, I dont' see any stages from user 3 even though that is who I am logged in as.

I will do some more tests...

Bug description:
  The web-client is affected in the integrated sale dashboard tree view and in tree view of sale opportunities.
  The gtk client is affected only in integrated dashboard tree view.
