Hello Amos,

I have tested your scenario with the stable 6 at my end. But all are working fine.
So would you please elaborate with more or provide the proper steps to reproduce it.
Also provide the whole traceback.

Title:
  Field "name" error generating quote from opportunity

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After creating an opportunity I try to create a quote but when I click
  on Generate Quote Button I get that the column name has a null
  restriction. I supose that the column of sale_order is the name of
  Opportunity, It is mandatory so is set.
