Hello William,

I have checked the issue and able to backup/restore the database
successfully. Tested with the stable 6.0.1 and linux 10.0.4.

Would you please elaborate the issue with more information or provide
the proper steps for reproducing the issue.

  backup database fails with pg_dump no password supplied

Bug description:
  pg_dump: [archiver (db)] connection to database "test_database" failed: fe_sendauth: no password supplied
  [2011-01-30 20:58:12,504][?] INFO:web-services:DUMP DB: test_database


  The gtk client thinks the backup worked, even though it actually
  failed.
