Hello,

I have checked the issue in stable-6.0 and seems to work without doing
explicitly encoding.

For testing I have send the email with subject and description
containing the Unicode character in Leads menu of crm module and the
history has been successfully created in that object.

I have attached the screen shot for you reference, So please check it
and notify me with more information from your side, If I did follow the
wrong steps for reproducing it. Waiting for your reply.

Title:
  OSV Memory wizard fields are not encoded in UTF-8 by default

Status in OpenERP Server:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  In order to properly pass the data from in OSV memory wizard fields,
  which has characters beyond ASCII, you have to explicitly encode data
  into UTF-8. Which is not the case with ordinary OpenERP's form fields.
