just change the bank type from the default value to whatever you want.
and miracles happen :-)

at least this is how it works here.

  Hello,

  Version : Latest Stable

  When you install a new localisation like l10n_ch, it install base_iban automatically.
  in base_iban Iban field is set to readonly, so you cannot create new Iban Bank account.
