[Bug 715596] Re: can't use the template for chart of accounts mexico
Hello.
Saludos.

Title:
can't use the template for chart of accounts mexico
Status in openerp-mexico-localization:
New
Bug description:
I've been trying to use the chart of accounts gracefully provided by
Antonio Fregoso, but it doesn't work neither in v5 nor v6. Actually,
it is me who tried to migrate the code to v6, but once I tried to use
it in v5, I realised it didn't work either. I really don't know what
to do. Most likely, I will have to write my own chart of accounts. It
would be great that the Antonio Fregoso's code was usable, since I
don't know squat about accounting, and his looks rather complete. I
wished I knew more about OpenERP to fix it...
Reproducing the bug:
Ubuntu 10.04
OpenERP 5.0.15 (tar files from OpenERP download page)
(1) cd folder
(2) bzr branch lp:~openerp-mexico-team-activo/+junk/l10n_mx
(3) ln -s folder/l10n_mx/l10n_mx /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-server/addons/
(4.a) Create a company or
(4.b) Update the l10n_mx module
(5) Try to create a chart of accounts from the mexican template
Result
You'll get a pretty dialog saying:
The code of the account must be unique per company !
Expected
To have a chart of accounts
