Amós, the default path for the configuration file in 6.0 is not "conf
\openerp-web.cfg", but "doc\openerp-web.cfg" inside the installation
directory of the Web client.

We have tested changing the server.socket_port and other settings in it
and it is working fine, after restarting the OpenERP Web Services via
the "Services" windows administration panel.

Please double-check the path to the file you are editing, and reopen the
bug with more info if it still does not work...

  Environment: Openerp6.0.1 All In One for Windows

  hi,

  When I tried to change my web client listening port I found that the C
  :\WEB-CLIENT-INSTALLATION-DIRECTORY\conf\openerp-web.cfg doesn´t do
  anything. I tried several ways but I didn't get anything. I think the
  problem is not just with that parameter, even if I change the server
  port, It doesn't work in web client configuration (of course I changed
  in server configuration and checked the listening port)
