Re: [Openerp-community] [Bug 718146] Re: OpenERP V6 , Document Management system subfolders are not getting listed

you can solve this problem simple , just don't remove Document
Directory I mean default Parent directory

and after that you can easy create your parent directory and child
directory with out any problem .

when you define your directory from directory structure after that you
can save your new directory and automatic parent directory appear

just save your new child directory and then parent directory appear ,

so you don't need to choose your parent directory (if you create your
directory from directory structure)

from technical view - use id of Parent Document which exist when you
install dms module

this bugs not found in v5
i hope my explanation is clear for you

Title:
OpenERP V6 ,Document Management system subfolders are not getting
  listed

Status in OpenERP Server:
  New

Bug description:
  Hi,
I have installed the OpenERP V6.0.1 along with the "Knowledge Management system" module. I am facing some issues with the creation of directories as it not showing the parent directories while creating the sub directories.

For e.g, I have created one directory called HR. Then I created one
sub directory under HR with the name as "child1" and parent selected
as "HR". Now when I try to create a directory "child2" as the sub
directory of "child1"(i.e parent as "child1"), I cannot do that . This
is because while clicking on the "Parent Item" field, it is not
showing "child1" in the list at all.

This particular feature was working well in my previous installation
  of OpenERP version 5.

  Regards,
  Bushair
