Hello Francois,

I have checked your latest scenario.
But the "Split Inventory lines" button is used for the splitting the line.

If you want to assign a whole quantity together using split button, so it will not consider this in many2one field because the purpose of using this button is splitting the quantity in to laser unit.
 
So for solving your purpose for whole quantity, you can use to create new record instead of using this button in production lot field.

  [PS] Inventory : production lot doesn't work

  In the inventory line, I click the button "production lot".
  The pop-up opens and I assign a new production lot to all the units.
  I close the pop-up and nothing happened!
