Hello Francois,

I have checked your issue.
But your suggestion is not proper when select shipping policy as a "Invoice On Order After Delivery" then you can create the invoice after picking.

We are set the "Advance Invoice" button visible when the invoice is
manually created, So this button is visible when the state in "draft" or
"manual in progress" .

If you select the shipping policy as a "Invoice On Order After Delivery"
then the state goes in direct "In progress", So this button is not
visible for this state.

Hope you will agree with this.

So the current working system is correct and I am closing this issue.

  [PS] Sales order : cannot make "advance invoice" if "invoice on order
  after delivery"

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  6.0.1

  On a sales order, I select Partial delivery + Invoice on order after delivery + Ordered quantities.
  After confirming the order, I cannot make "advance invoice" anymore.

  I should be able to do it. 
  For instance, I could agree with a client that he pays 10% before right now and the balance after delivery.
