Hello Frederic Clementi,

You can only change that Opening balance field when state field have value draft.
So, After post entries your cash register's  state field have value open.
If you want to edit the value of opening balance then with the help of cancel button,
you can get back to draft state and able to editing opening balance.

Title:
  V6 - Cash initial balance bug

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  First time your are using the "cash registers", if you enter the coins
  & notes you have physique as initial balance and start to post entries
  you cannot go back to the 1st tab and change initial balance in case
  of erreur. (of course I have not close cash box yet)

  In other word, you should have possibility to change whatever you are
  doing as long as you have not validated anaything.
