After installing Python 3.2 on my windows workstation and reïnstalling
openerp_report_design.zip and restarting OpenOffice Writer it is working
again.

Title:
  openerp_report_design.zip OpenOffice extension not installable in
  OpenOffice 3.3

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  After installing openerp_report_designer.zip  using the extension manager in OpenOffice 3.3, the application shows an exclamation mark and uninstalling is impossible. 
  The designer is not working at all. The designer is shown in the menu. But none of the menu options are working.
   
  This problem was with OpenERP version 6.1 and OpenOffice 3.3. It worked in OpenOffice 3.2 all running on Windows XP SP3.
