[Bug 724820] Re: internal move: no validation for production lot

 

Hi Amit,

sorry, but I cannot agree: the stock manager decides which production
lots have to be moved from stock A (e.g. Germany) to stock B (somewhere
in the world). He enters this lots in the picking list. He prints the
picking list, the stock worker (who's doing the physical picking) MUST
have the information which production lots have to be moved. If he was
allowed to choose any lot, stock level (in production lots) in both
locations will get mixed up!

So in this case the stock mananger must get constrained to enter
production lots in the internal move.

Another example: material in 'production', a worker finds out: bad
quality (in one special lot). This special production lot now has to be
moved out of 'stock free' back to 'quality control' or 'quarantine
store'. If this will be done without entering a production lot in the
move line: how to use traceability through OpenERP?

Means: it is a functional bug..... I hope you will agree.

  steps to reproduce:

  - product.form: enable 'track manufacturing lots'/'track incomings lots'/'track outgoing lots'
  - warehouse/warehouse management/internal moves
  - create a new entry from stock A to stock B (both internal)
  - process/validate

  expected behavior: error message "you must assign a production lot for
  this product"

  occurred behavior: move gets in state 'done', stock without production
  lot
