Hi
Thanks for looking into this. But with latest sources, I still get
exactly the same problem, and the menu entry for merge partners doesn't
appear either.

Title:
Get error when running base_partner_merge
Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
Fix Released
Bug description:
Using 6.0.2 dev ie revision 5265 of trunk extra addons sources, on
Ubuntu 10.04 server
The menu item for 'merge partners' is incorrect, but this was easily
fixed by linking a new menu item into the correct action, ie 'Merge
Partners'.
When running this menu item I get an error :-

Running the Merge Partner addresses runs ok, but i haven't checked if
the results are sensible.
