Hi

Thanks for looking into this. But with latest sources, I still get
exactly the same problem, and the menu entry for merge partners doesn't
appear either.

Title:
  Get error when running base_partner_merge

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Using 6.0.2 dev ie revision 5265 of trunk extra addons sources, on
  Ubuntu 10.04 server

  The menu item for 'merge partners' is incorrect, but this was easily
  fixed by linking a new menu item into the correct action, ie 'Merge
  Partners'.

  When running this menu item I get an error :-

  Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-server/netsvc.py", line 489, in dispatch
      result = ExportService.getService(service_name).dispatch(method, auth, params)
    File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-server/service/web_services.py", line 599, in dispatch
      res = fn(db, uid, *params)
    File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-server/osv/osv.py", line 122, in wrapper
      return f(self, dbname, *args, **kwargs)
    File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-server/osv/osv.py", line 176, in execute
      res = self.execute_cr(cr, uid, obj, method, *args, **kw)
    File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-server/osv/osv.py", line 167, in execute_cr
      return getattr(object, method)(cr, uid, *args, **kw)
  TypeError: fields_view_get() takes at most 7 arguments (8 given)

  Running the Merge Partner addresses runs ok, but i haven't checked if
  the results are sensible.
