Hello,

I am not able to produce this problem because same code exist in my addons and I did not face this type of issue.
So the problem is raise due to your extra module where you inherited the related class and overriding the same method.
Can you check those extra module code where this similar method is define or not .

If this is due to the main method of stock then the similar problem should be raise at my end also.

Bug description:
  OpenERP stable 6.0 version.

  An invoice created from Receptions is created with type "out_invoice".
  After, when you access to invoice partners tree view, this invoices
  are not displayed. If you change account_invoice type to 'in_invoice',
  the tree view display the invoice correctly.
