[Bug 722679] Re: Import Inventory ignores Products with no stock
Hello Daniel,
If we allowed to insert the product from the stock location which has 0
quantity then it is very difficult to manage in inventory line when you
have a large number of products with 0 quantity.
This issue can not be consider as a generic problem, So I am closing
this bug for now. Hope you will agree with this. If you have any problem
with that you can share with us.
Suggestions will be welcomed.
Thanks.

Title:
Import Inventory ignores Products with no stock
Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
Invalid
Bug description:
Steps to reproduce:
1) Navigate to Warehouse > Inventory Control > Physical Inventories
2) Create a new Inventory, and give it a name.
3) "Save & Edit" the empty Inventory
4) Click "Import Inventory".
5) Choose a stock location for Location and hit "Fill Inventory".
Expected behaviour:
All products in the location (as shown by the Location Structure report) are added to Inventory.
Actual behaviour:
Only products in the location which already have stock are added to Inventory. This makes, for example, performing an initial inventory considerably more time consuming than is really necessary.
