[Bug 728368] Re: Regional Sales Accounts Nonsensical

Hi Alan,
The tax code structure in OpenERP does not require you to keep separate accounts for tax rates as suggested above.

Of course you can change the name of the sales account to something more logical to your business, should the default by region names are not relevant. Example:
  4000 - Sales Services
  4001 - Sales Hardware
  4002 - Sales Software

thanks

Title:
  Regional Sales Accounts Nonsensical

Status in OpenERP UK Localisation:
  Invalid

Bug description:
In the UK Alliance CoA the Sales chart has 5 sales income accounts
listed by region. The default for product sales being "Sales North".

To me this doesn't make sense. I just looked at the suggested CoA for
  Sage 200:

  Category 3 - Income accounts
  31
  Trading Income
  31100 Sales
  31200 Export Sales
  31300 Exempt Sales
  31400 Sales Zero %
  31500 Sales Rate A
  31600 Sales Rate B
