[Bug 728368] Re: Regional Sales Accounts Nonsensical
Hi Alan,
The tax code structure in OpenERP does not require you to keep separate accounts for tax rates as suggested above.
Of course you can change the name of the sales account to something more logical to your business, should the default by region names are not relevant. Example:
4000 - Sales Services
4001 - Sales Hardware
4002 - Sales Software

Bug description:
In the UK Alliance CoA the Sales chart has 5 sales income accounts
listed by region. The default for product sales being "Sales North".
To me this doesn't make sense. I just looked at the suggested CoA for
Sage 200:
Category 3 - Income accounts
31
Trading Income
31100 Sales
31200 Export Sales
31300 Exempt Sales
31400 Sales Zero %
31500 Sales Rate A
31600 Sales Rate B
