[Bug 728502] Re: sales order - cannot set an analytic account
Hello Leigh,
I have tested your scenario with stable 6.0 and trunk in web-client at my end. But all are working fine.
For the security reason we have set a "Analytic Account" field in "Useability / Analytic Accounting" group.
So please add this group in particular user and then check.
I have attached a screen-shot for your reference, So please check it.
This is not a bug and I am closing this issue if you still face the
problem then you can reopen it.

In the user's manual it is written "You can also set an analytic
account for your order. This account will be used during invoicing to
generate accounting entries corresponding to the invoice
automatically. This is extremely useful for assigning revenues to the
project or case specified by this order."
But there is NO WHERE in the Sales Order to set an analytic account.
Also the tip section says "If you are managing by task, the analytic
account to be selected is the one that corresponds to the project for
the order. The sale carried out by the order can be allocated to the
project so that profitability calculations can be made."
And once again, there is no where to set this.
