Hello Frederic,

I have tested your scenario at my end.
When you cancel the invoice at that time we just remove the sequence with the blank value But when you making this in to draft and again validate the same sequence will be appeared again.

So ultimately the sequence number did not lost only disappear at the
time cancel state.

  Trunk - cancel an invoice and you get a hole in sequence

  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hi,
  With module account_cancel installed.
  Create an invoice % approve it
  cancel that same invoice, set it to draft...the invoice number disappear...which is a big issue knowing that invoice No = acc. move No in V6

  What do you think ?
