I have tested your scenario with web-client at my end. But all are
working as expected.

Title:
  cannot create a task from a sales order (project_mrp)

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  v6.0.1 (web)

  project_mrp is supposed to create a project task when there is a sales order of a product that is set:
  1) type=  service
  2) procurement method = made to order
  3) supply method = produce

  This does not work.  Try making a sales order for a product called
  "Cleaning".  The procurement is generated and set done, but a task is
  never created.

  However, if I create a procurement  manually for 1 hour of Cleaning,
  and confirm the procurement, then it DOES create the project task
  Cleaning.

  And so I'm guessing that the Sales Order workflow in version6 is not
  correct for the project_mrp module.
