The same happen to me with TB 3.18, TB 3.1.9 on Windows Xp SP3, OpenERP
6.0.1 on Ubuntu.

  Problem create leads from Thunderbird plug in

Bug description:
  Hi, I installed TB plug in on ubuntu 10.4 with Thunderbird v. 3.1.8 (Server Openerp 6.0.1. ubu 10.10)
  I search partner, add attachment and and create contacts but when I click "CREATE" for lead or project issue, I don't see any event and no comunication of errors or operation successfully. Seems like no event associated to the button.
