Hello DR Ferdinand,

Thanks for the reporting. It is a very good idea and we appreciate such
suggestions from your side. The same functionality is available in user
preference, So not sure for repeating it again.

For now I am setting it as a wishlist and welcomed the suggestions from
all community members.

If you have such improvements blueprints or ideas then you can also post
it on http://feedback.openerp.com/forums/77459-general-improvements
which will be reviewed also.

Bug description:
  WISH
  IMHO it would be muh faster to allow switching companies by implementing a select widget in
  * GTK - footer
  * WEB - header
  in the place where the current company is displayed
