Hello,
we are totally agree with the fact the in make quotation only customer should be displayed 
but what you ask about customer specific to a sales teams is to specific.
Some company need this restriction and some other don't need, so we prefer to remains with less constraint that is more easy for new user, despite the fact that a user can be member of different sales team that make the situation more complicated. 

So we will fix the first part of the bug.

  6.0.1 CRM - Opportunity - convert to quot problem

Bug description:
  object crm.lead

  In opportunity form when we press button "convert to quot" it opens the form "Make Quotation"
  as shown in the attached image. 
  It shows the customer name of current opportunity. 
  But if we press search button then it opens the whole partner list instead of only customer list.
  Wh
  This customer list should shows only the list of the customer which belongs to only that sales team of current user.

  Also in sales order, To create new supply order. when you select the
  customer it shows only customer list, but it shows the customer list
  of all the sales team for a particular sales team user, which may be
  not required in some organization.

  This could be improvement.
