I have fixed the problem in lp:~openerp-dev/openobject-addons/trunk-
bug-728417-ara branch as per qdp (Open ERP) suggestion in merge
proposal. It will be merge soon with trunk addons.

  Installation with "Accounting and Finance" module installed.

  1. Navigate to Accounting/Configuration/Financial
  Accounting/Accounts/Accounts

  2. pick an account

  3. set "Active" to False (uncheck)

  4. Save change and we get the following Exception:
