Would you please elaborate more with proper steps because we are easily
able to install client in win 7 system at over end. And It is working
normally.

We had installed the client from following link:
http://www.openerp.com/downloads

  Client install win 7 does not generate links

Bug description:
  The install goes ok, asks for admin rights, and finalises. However
  running as normal user, there are no entries in the menu: option was
  chosen.
