I have checked your issue with latest trunk at my end but it is working fine.
And I am successfully cancel the invoice without any error.

So would you please provide the proper steps and provide the error or
traceback which you have faced.

  Cancel of invoice throws error, validate of move_id is invalid

Bug description:
  After a invoice was canceled the unlink of the account_move_line
  throws an error. Someone changed the order fo the validate function.
  Here is the Bugfix.
