Message #20906
[Bug 745999] Re: Manufacturing Conversion Error "math wrong"
Hello Kyle Waid,
The fix is appropriate. It was giving false results before when using
different UoMs in the manufacturing Order. It seems that some mis
configuration has been done at your end. Let me explain you how it
works,
- I have created 2 products. Bottles and Packet UoM is PCE for both
- I have created a new UoM PK of type Unit. Pk has the ratio 10.00 and UoM Type is 'Bigger than the reference UoM'. - This means that 1 PK = 10 PCE
- I have created a BoM for Packet where 1 Packet = 10 Bottles.
- I created a manufacturing order for 1 PK so it should be having 100 Bottles as 1 PK = 10 PCE and 1 Packet = 10 Bottles so Bottles will be 10*10 = 100.
I have attached the screen shots for the same.
Hope this clears the problems.
Thanks.

Title:
Manufacturing Conversion Error "math wrong"
Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
Invalid
Bug description:
If I do a manufacturing order where I have to convert 1 oz from a LB,
instead of taking an oz in conversion it takes some strange factor.
Basically it is not computing the mathematics correctly making it
impossible to use the manufacturing process. Please confirm.
