This issue appear in GTK client for language!=en and the filter operand is translated in locale language. 
For fixing this issue we've changed all terms translated for the filter operands back to en and recompiled for proper locale LC_MESSAGES.
In web, custom filters works.

  Filters doesn't work except on text fields

Bug description:
  In any search view of OpenERP in GTK Client, when i want to create a new filter on a field which is not a text field, the list is not filtered.
  For example on product search view, if i want to show all products whom have a cost price greater than 300, i can see all products (even those which should be hidden by the filter)
