I have tested your scenario at my end with latest code[ server - 3395,
addons - 4513, web - 4569 ] and it is working fine. I have attached a
video for your reference so, please check and notify us. If problem
occurred than attached screenshot or Traceback.

Title:
  Error when click on New button to create new customer invoice line

Status in OpenERP Web Client:
  New

Bug description:
  openobject-server version: build 3395, latest
  openobject-client-web version: build 4569, latest
  openobject-addons version: build 4512, latest

  Note: supplier invoice does not have this issue
  I have issue with customer Invoice.

  1. Create a new customer invoice
  2. Fill with a customer name (for ex: axelor)
  3. Click on New button to create a new invoice line. Error happens with long messages, at the end is
  ===
  <type 'exceptions.IndexError'>: list index out of range
        args = ('list index out of range',)
        message = 'list index out of range'
