Hello Ferdinand,

I tested your issue on the latest trunk with your module installed and
does serve the purpose that is intended. I also tried to change the sort
order in other inherited modules too which worked as expected.

can you please retry !

I would like to close the bug for the sake of clarity on LP. Please

  _order ca not be overwritten in inherited class

Status in OpenERP Server:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  We try to modify the sort order as 
  _order = 'name desc'
  is not appropriate 

  Examples
  * restart numbering every year
  * change padding to accomodate for more recources 
  * using different prefixes.

  the module loads but the new sort order is not used
