You can change the view xml in the right panel. The Name of the view is
"external_referential_form_view" . Delete the content in field "name" on
"attrs". Then it works.

  Hi,
  I am running openerp 5.0.10 on a debian lenny.
  I have install the open erp modules :
  - Module: product
  - Module: base_external_referentials
  - Module: base_sale_multichannels
  - Module: product_m2mcategories
  - Magentoerpconnect_generic (and his dependencies, product_images_olbs...)

  I have created a product category.

  I use the open erp web interface (the shop is configured)
  I go to "Magento-connection" -> "core-settings" ->"Magento-instances" -> "new"

  and the there I cannot give a name to the magento instance :(
  the field is disable :(

  any ideas ?
