[Bug 779461] Re: [6.1 trunk]: create new database error: OperationalError: FATAL: database does not exist

 

Hello Bogdan,

Yes the problem is quite easily reproducible. The reason is Client makes
a call to check whether the db that is proposed to create does already
exists or not. To full fill this request the server tries to borrow the
same from the existing connection pool and results in an Exception
saying OperationalError: FATAL:  database "ABC" does not exist:

I think the client should get the list of existing DB from the server
and check internally ...

  hi there!

  when creating a new database, the server throws this error.
