[Bug 787944] Re: How to cancel produced qty in MO, respectively re-open MO

Armit,

I never would like to re-open a PROPER production order - this is not
what I expect. Imagine a company with 1.500 MOs in state 'in production'
- don't you believe mistakes could happen?

These scenarios are 'daily business' in a manufacturing company:
- I want to produce MO/00155 but produced MO/00551 by mistake
- the manufacturer notifies me about partial production - in the wizard I forgot to change the qty
- the manufacturer notifies me about full production, I process this qty. Afterwards he corrects himself and less or more was produced

In all this cases I can't do anything to set the MO in the right state!

I'm able to return goods on an outgoing picking if I made a mistake
I'm able to return goods on an incoming shipment if I made a mistake

But I'm not able to correct any mistake I made on a MO.

Making mistakes is human, isn't it?

Title:
How to cancel produced qty in MO, respectively re-open MO

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Invalid

Bug description:
It happens a user has chosen a wrong MO to produce finished goods. After he/she found out I don't find any way to re-open a MO / to cancel produced qty (except via inventory loss). Issue: we set the finished good to 'MTO' - now a wrong sales order picking list is in state 'available'!
There has to be a way to cancel production.
