[Bug 787950] Re: overdelivery in MO not possible
Hi Atik,
You patch declines overproduction by raising an error message.
That is better than silently discarding overproduction, but it is still _not_ what this ticket intended.
The question was, how to ALLOW overproduction.
Producing more than ordered is common at many industrial manufacturers, especially regarding high quantities, fast turnover or long setting-up times for producing these goods.
That is often decided just-in-time, on-the-fly by foreman or administration, on call or because of gut feelings :)
(In addition: this also affects 6.0)

Steps to reproduce
- open / confirm / start a MO with 10 PCE
- click 'produce' and change qty to 12 PCE (no warning about 'wrong qty')
result: stock move and stock level = 10 PCE
so: HOW TO?
