I have checked your issue again with latest stable and trunk at my end regarding your comment#3 's steps.
But all are working as expected.

I have attached a video for your reference so would you please check it.

And would you please try with the latest update code.
Stable addons : 4612
Trunk addons : 4731

Currently I am closing this bug if you still faced the problem then you
can reopen this with more information like wih chart you have install
and which modules you have install (I have tried with French accounting
chart with official addons and not from the extra-addons).
