Hello,

Would you please check this again with the latest updated code. You can download the latest code from following LP link.
https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp

I have checked this and did not face any problem. So I am closing this

Thanks.

Title:
Client Installation on Linux not working

Status in OpenERP GTK Client:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When installing the client on Linux following the instructions provided on the official manual
  http://doc.openerp.com/v6.0/install/linux/client/index.html

The client won't install properly. Errors include:
/usr/bin/python: can't open file './openerp-client.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

Apparently, the files inside the openerp-client egg folder are not
being copied to the right places. Please see the manual for people's
report about this error and the work arounds (creating sym links in
the right places did the job for me).

From the reports, this error existed in 6.0.1 and exists in 6.0.2 as
well (not sure if it was present in 6.0.0).

I had the issue using Ubuntu 11.04 with OpenERP 6.0.2 (got the tar.gz
file from the official website). Users with same error were using
other linux distros and earlier Ubuntu versions.
