Hello,

I would like to assign the bug to both the client GTK & WEB as web needs
the improvement in the notification message including the view,field and
model name  where as the GTK currently supports the duplicate fields so
it needs to be improved to restrict them and pop up the same
notification like the web with all the necessary details

Title:
  Invalid view, duplicate field: date

Status in OpenERP Web:
  Confirmed
Status in OpenERP GTK Client:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  IMHO it is necessary to print the name of the broken view, esepcially
  important if many and/or inherited views exists like for cash
  registers

  I get this message in web client only (GTK and Koo work fine), trying
  to swith from list to form in cash register
