What client, version, OS, GTK theme are you using?  On a normal setup
filters takes zero space, as it is beside the find and clear button and
group by is only the height of the font, so in total they take up the space
of a single record..

Bug description:
  Just the words "Filters" and "group by",  use a lot of space on the screen,
  please find a way to give this space back to useful data.
